How Does a Car Ignition System Work?

A car ignition system is a system for igniting a fuel-air mixture by the use of spark plugs. The system works by creating a steady current when the ignition is turned from the battery to the ignition coils through the primary coil and the distributor to the spark plugs. This causes the plugs to spark therefore igniting a fuel-air mixture in the engine.
